Grinning Donkey appeared to be the brightest of Kappa's rising stars during the late part of Algarons command. He won the first KAPS race he took part in, and took no less than six IWATS courses in his first week with the Squadron. However, a nasty HCI entanglement about cheating saw him demoted to Sub-Lieutenant and stripped him of the possibility to earn FCHG rank. Despite working back to full Lieutenant, and having the full support of his Squadron mates, Grinning Donkey lost contact after a while, and was declared AWOL five months after his joining.
