Sub-Lieutenant Jules Vega spent only a very short time in Kappa and never became an active squadron member. After a few mails to his squadron mates, sent shortly after his entrance into the squad in early August 2003, he was never heard from again, so he was removed from Kappa's ranks only weeks after his first appearance.  (Tempest)
