The Shield Ship is the vessel commissioned by Lando Calrissian to escort
mining vessels and transports to the rich ore deposits on the planet
Nkllon in the Athega system.  Due to Athega's extreme temperatures, these
ships must shield other vessels from the intense radiation and heat.  The
shield ship is driven by an engine on each end (since the shield must face
Athega both inbound and outbound) and has large cooling vanes on the shield.
