Order of the Vanguard - The Order of the Vanguard is
awarded to members for long standing time in service to
the fleet; while the Operations Office is charged with
record keeping of the order, the Flight Office is
charged with awarding it. Members are awarded the First
Echelon for one year of service, Second Echelon for two
years, and so on. Each echelon is indicated by the
addition of a small silver bar to the
ribbon. | |
